Two Research Laboratories have been established in the department:

• The Care and Counselling in Perinatal Period of Special Populations Lab with ΦΕΚ Ίδρυσης and Director Professor Lykeridou Aikaterini, and also
• The Laboratory of Midwifery Care during Antenatal and Post natal period – Breastfeeding with ΦΕΚ Ίδρυσης and Director Associate Professor Anoniou Evaggelia.
